How can I prevent mildew from forming on my bathroom
walls and ceiling?

NSWER:

4 REMOVING MILDEW FROM

BATHROOM WALLS AND

ILINGS :

Wash the walls with a solution of 3 heaping
tablespoons of trisodium phosphate in 4 litres of warm
water. Wearing rubber gloves scrub the walls with a
coarse cloth. Rinse the areas well and allow to dry.
Once the wails are thoroughly cleaned and dry, apply a
good quality INTERIOR OIL BASED PAINT. Latex
water based paint should never be used for painting
bathroom walls because the weeping moisture allows

the bacteria to grow. This is the algae which shows up

as black markings on the walls.
