Seniors hold craft fair

PEOPLE FROM the North Shore
are invited to come to the North
Shore Neighbourhood House this
weekend and join the seniors at
their annual craft fair.

The fund-raising event runs
Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to
2:30 p.m. at 225 £. 2nd St., North
Vancouver.

A hand-crafted quilt, food
basket and cosy lap robe will be
raffled off by the Seniors Craft
Circle group.

According to crafts volunteer

Ruth Attfield, ‘‘The seniors have
worked hard all year and will have
beautifully-knit baby clothes, lots
of stuffed toys — just in time to
stock up for Christmas — and
hand-knit children’s sweaters.’”

Seniors will also sell plush
pillows, silk scarves, Christmas
items, plants, books and good-as-
new clothing. Refreshments will be
sold.
