diabilical chess game, or it is
a deliberate act by FIFA to
destroy North America as
any kind of soccer power.
The latter would be nothing
more than an act of fear. An

Another face in the crowd
was Harry Christie, a local
who does a fair bit of
scouting for the Cosmos
organization.

All in all, a fun evening
with a few refreshments and
tapes of the ‘62 World Cup.
The sort of thing which
would make a nice two or
three times a year get-
together.

And having mentioned the
Cosmos, a reminder that its
only 11 days until the
Whitecaps take on their
favorite cnemy at Empire
Stadium in the Spring Cup.
