Sci-fi classics at the library February is Science Fiction month at North Vancouver District Library: there will be special displays, lists of recom- mended books and authors, and a film show for the whole family. “Journey to the Centre of the Earth” is a classic movie based on the novel by Jules Verne, and starring James Mason. The story is a fine mixture of whimsical fantasy and Victorian melodrama, and moves through a series of world adventures to a thrilling climax involving a live volcano. The filming is slightly dated, but the fun isn't; come early for a good seat. The show starts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9 at Lynn Valley Library, and runs till about 9:20. There is no admission charge. women Flab firming Want to firm and stren- then those flabby muscles ladies, or just generally improve your overall body tone?
