Dear Editor:

In North Vancouver, B.C., you
are able to force the residents to
have your paper.

But you are exceeding your
authority by printing an invitation
to Lamont and Spencer on ‘‘our’’
behalf.

I do not wish to be included in
the ‘‘our’’? of your editorial
headline. If you wish to have them
at your place, good luck.

If there is any mention of a
parole of the ‘‘couple in Brazil’
there should be an assurance of
their future peaceful behavior.

1 have not heard a word of
regret from them for their deceit
and prying into a foreign coun-
try’s business.

As well, | worry that continued
newspaper prodding will have a
tragic result.

Calling the Brazil jails ‘‘stink-
ing’? is not worthy of your usual
fine writing. \

YW Mr. and Mrs. Lamont and
Mr. Wright continue to try to in-
fluence the courts in Canada and
Brazil by news articles, beware.

The sentence in Brazil was in-
creased after an appeal. More
public meddling may have a sad
result.

The sentence there may be ex-
tended from 28 years to execution.
