holiday OK Corral

CHRISTMAS FUN comes to the
OK Corral courtesy of the North
Vancouver Community Players for
the group’s annual Christmas
children’s production this year.

Children will discover the good
guys and bad guys among the
play’s cast of Wyatt and Twerp,
Wells and Fargo, Sunglance and
Hopalong and Silly the Kid.

Soden and Ann Wedding,
Christmas at the OK Corral en-
courages audience participation in
the manner of loud cheers and
jeers.

In_ addition to cheering the
heroes and jeering the villains, the
audience will chat with Champion
the talking. horse, said “ group
publicist Rosemary Davenport.

In the play, there is a bank rob-
bery, a musical interlude, a chase
and a happy resolution to the
crime — all in one hour performed
specially for two- to 10-year-olds.

Proceeds from the Christmas
production will be donated to
charity again this year, said
Davenport. ‘‘Last year’s show
enabled us to contribute $1,000 to
(a radio station's) Orphan's Fund.
This year we are aiming to top that
figure.’*

Ticket prices for the Friday,
Saturday and Sunday shows Dec. 4
to 20 have been kept low to enable
a whole family to attend the play,
