Important Notice Yard Trimmings Collection Ends After Monday, November 30 The weekly municipal Yard Trimmings Collection Service for North & West Vancouver will be stopping for the winter season after Monday, November 30. The weekly Yard Trimmings service will resume for the spring growing season on March 1, 1999. Please have all of your properly bagged or bundled yard trimmings out for final collection on your regular coliection day up to the final day of November 30. For example: If your regular collection day falls on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, then your last collection day will be November 24, 25, 26 or 27 respectively. If your regular collection day is Monday, then your last collection day will be Monday, November 30. What do I do with Yard Trimmings between December 1 and March 1? * Take your yard trimmings to the Chipping Yard at North Shore Transfer Station at 30 Riverside Drive in North Vancouver. Your first trip per day up to 100 kg. is no charge. Additional loads and amounts over 100kg. are charged at a rate of $6.50 per 100kg. Material dropped off at the Chipping Yard will be composted.
