Preheat oven to 350°F
(180°C). Line a 8 X 4 inch
(1.8 L) loaf pan with foil and
grease well. Toss candied peel
With nuts. In a medium-sized
mixing bowl, cream) butter
and sugar. Add eggs and beat
until mixture is light and
fluffy. In another bowl, com-

bine flour and baking powder,
Add peel, nuts and M&Ms to
flour mixutre. Fold dry ingre-
dients into butter, sugar and
cep mixture and mix gently.
Spread mixture in loaf pan
and bake for 45 to 50 minutes
or until tester inserted in cen-
tre comes out clean. Let cool
in pan for 10) minutes.
Remove trom pan and cool on
wire rack. When completely
cool, wrap well and refriger-
ate. Cut into small slices,
