A 23-YEAR-OLD Maple Ridge man was jailed 28 days in
connection with two charges of breaching probation by
being found on the North Shore.

Jason Michael Hawkes pleaded guilty to the charges
stemming from June 6 and Novy, 11 incidents.

Judge Bill Rodgers sentenced Hawkes in North
Vancouver r provincial court on Noy. 16.

- NINE SNOWBOARDS and one set of skis have been
reported stolen from Cypress Bow! since Nov. 11.
‘A West Vancouver Police spokesman said five cars
parked at the focal ski hill have been broken into as well
in the past two. weeks, Police usk skiers to take as few
valuables as possible with them to a ski hill and use secu-
rity devices for their ski gear available on the mountain.
West Vancouver Police will be holding two Ski Watch
Identification programs at Cypress Bow! on Tuesday, Dec.
20 and Wednesday, Dec. 28. Driver’s licences are
