Look for activities you enjoy Charmaine Grooks \ TRAIN WITH CHARMAINE ONCE YOU'VE decided to “get active,” staying that way and includ- ing it into an already hectic lifestyle is a real challenge for most of us. Finding an activity that’s fun and easy to do is one way to ensure that you'll stay on track. Choose a pro- gram or activity you can do at your own pace, otherwise you'll feel tired and frustrated. Walking, swimming or cycling are low-impact activities you can do. No matter what you decide to do, always set realistic, measurable goals which you can attain in your own time frame. Do consuit a physician before committing to any major activity to see what’s best for your specific needs or condition. Active time will not only help you wind down from stress, but it can also give you a much needed boost of energy!
