to continue to expand its

North Shore grief program aids bereaved

THE WORTH Shore Grief Recov-
ery Group invites those who are
bereaved to attend a. six-week
-program designed to give infor-

mation and support which will
help in healing from the loss of
someone close.

The group begins at 7 p.m. on
Feb, 2 and continues weekly until
Mar. 9. -A commitment for the
duration of the group is required.

“Grief is a natural response to
such loss and ‘is unique for each
of us, but there are common reac-
tions: and some coping strategies

Ellen de Grace, the group leader,
who is a trained. social worker
with experience in leading groups
and facilitating understanding and
healing in grief.

Her assistant, Marilyn Elwidge,
a public health nurse, also has
special training in this area.
