Cooking classes offered NORTH SHORE Continuing Education has something for cooks who want to add so:ne spice to their culinary repertoire. During the month of November, short courses on seafood, ethnic and vegetarian cooking will be offered at West Vancouver Secondary, Carson Graham and Lucas Centre. In Seafood Creations on Nov. 2, Dave Carr from Salmon House on the Hili will team up with well-known cooking instructor, Romy Reimann, to share the * secrets of seafood dishes. Ethnic and vegetarian classes are popular among those wanting to add some variety to their menus. Cooks who have experi- mented with Indian cooking will enjoy a more advanced course on Nov. 6 and an Indian microwave class on Nov. 27. Two vegetarian classes on Nov. 7 at Carson Graham feature sushi and cooking with tofu. At West Vancouver Secondary on Nov. 13, a demonstration of the best of Mediterranean cuisine will provide delicious samples and recipes. To add a different twist for cooking enthusiasts, Romy Reimann invites you to join her on A Mystery Culinary Tour Nov. 16 when she wiil take you on a field trip to her favorite ethnic food shons. Three courses that will appeal to those who want to get a start on planning special meals for the holidays are: A Christmas Feast with Ann Kirseborn on Nov. 26, Holiday Entertaining on Nov. 25 and Christmas Baking on Dec. 2, both given by Romy Reimann.
