Van minor hockey looking for coaches INCREASED ENROLLMENT in the North Vancouver Minor Hockey Association bas led to the creation of five new teams --- but left openings for five new coaches. One coach is needed for the bantam ‘B" rep while two coaches are needed for cach of the bantam “Cand midget "C" house teams. The association is starting its 26th year with 35 teams in its prograin. Anyone interested in coaching should call coach coordinator Mark Shaughnessy at 986-2583. Candidates do not have to have a player in the association. Sports programs offered THE NORTH Shore Special Olympics is offering several spor- ting activities for people to get in- volved with this Fall. These sports include softball, track and field, gymnastics, bowl- ing. floor hockey, swimming, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
