they stick around until a bit-
ter day arrives and say to
each other, ‘‘Well lads — it’s
turned too cold for us, leave
us be on our way’’?

And how do they find
those worms? Can they see
them or hear them or smell
them? hey seem to be very

WONDER how they do it. Robins I mean.
How come they’re here all winter one year and
not to be seen the next? ..

alert as they stand statue-still
watching or listening or
whatever they do, then they
dash quickly about ten feet to
the right or left of where

haul out a worm!
