That’s what happened to Alan James fast Thursday at about 2 p.m. One of the main electrical boxes in the build- ing, at 92 Lonsdale, was start- ing to smoke. He was told that there was danger of fire. “We were ina real fix because it was the busiest time of the year,” said salon owner Alan James, of the "hairy situation.
