On school days there is heavy traffic on Stevens Drive and’ Southborough Street to and from Collingwood school, in the morning and in the afternoon. It is getting to a point where a solution is badly needed. The problem: par- ents driving their children to and from school while school buses are almost empty. When Collingwood school came into our neighborhood some years ago, they assured us that craftic would be kept to a minimum because school buses will be provided. We can see what's happening now, a stream of vehicles daily polluting the environment unnecessarily. To Collingwood school: take a good look at the situation, have a meeting with parents. find a solution, and use the buses! To the parents: walking vour children to a bus stop will nor harm you or your kids and when you drive them to school, don’t speed, just get out of bed earlier.
