THREE tcenagers face
fraud charges in con-
nection with stealing a
parent’s ATM card
and racking up fraud-
ulent bills to the tune
of $10,712.

Police say the tio started
out last September with
some stolen cheques, one
parent’s stolen bank ATM
card and a plan.

For three days they
racked up fraudulent bank
card transactions including
withdrawals from — bank
machines and deposits of
stolen cheques. Police say
they used the money with-
drawn to buy limousine
rides, high-end sports cloth-
ing and food.

more than 40 transactions
back to nwo males and one
female teen. Police describe
the investigation as being
“very time-consuming.”

APPLICATION FOR PERMIT AMENDMENT UNDER
AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT BYLAW NO. 725

1. In accordance with the Waste Management Act Public Notification
Regulation, Shel! Canada Products Ltd. of 201 Kensington Ave.,
Burnaby, VSB 4B2 hereby apply for a Permit to discharge
contaminants into the air from a fuel dispensing facility located at
1198 Marine Drive, North Vancouver, V7P 1S8.

. The legal description of the !and upon which the plant is located
is: Lot 4 of Blocks 45 and 49 District Lot 552.

. The purpose of this Application is to authorize the discharge of air
contaminants from a soil vapour extraction system for the
remediation of in-situ hydrocarbon contaminated soils at the Shel!
Service Station. Hydrocarbon vapous will not exceed the maximum
discharge criteria of the GVRD Air Quality Management Bylaw No.
728. Controts are based on flow-rate (blower size) and manua!
vacuum adjustment according to standard operating procedures.

. Asummary of the emission characteristics is as follows:

(a) Total rate of Discharge: 4.2 cubic metres/minute
(m2fmin.) at STP
(20°C, 760 mm Hg).

(b) Maximum duration of operation: 24 hours/day, 7 days/week
