STUDENTS from the Seycove Drama Association ham it up as they form a hanging basket. They hope to
entice focal gardeners to buy real hanging baskets filled with mixes of Ivy, Geranium, Fuchsia, Silveriace,
Verbena, Lobelia, Daisy, Dusty Mitler and more. Proceeds go to the association, with order forms available at
the schoo!, Sarah's Designs and Gifts, the Deep Cove Cultural Centre and Ron Andrews rec centre. The dead-
line for orders is May 2, with delivery scheduled tor May 9, just in time for Mother’s Day.

Community Services
(NSCS).

COMPANION is needed
for an ESL student who has a
mild mental disabiliry. A male
companion is desired who
enjoys conversation as weil as
recreational activities like
swimming.

COMMUNITY EVENT
ORGANIZERS are needed
for available Jong- and short-
term positions — organiza-
tional security, event-day vol-
unteers, set up, tear down ete.

YOUTH WORKERS are
needed to work in a drop-in
centre. Will involve setting up
games, pool tables and equip-
ment and supervising teens,
playing games with them and
taking a turn in the kitchen
selling pop and chips. Main
job will be to interact with
teens and develop friendships.

GOPHONE

COMPANION is needed
for an elderly lady who needs
someone to accompany her to
swimming. Transportation is
needed.

RECYCLE CRAFTS
VOLUNTEERS are needed
to assist at special events with
the making of crafts from
recycled and reused materials
with children aged 6 to 10.
