A male companion is desired who enjoys conversation as weil as recreational activities like swimming. COMMUNITY EVENT ORGANIZERS are needed for available Jong- and short- term positions — organiza- tional security, event-day vol- unteers, set up, tear down ete. YOUTH WORKERS are needed to work in a drop-in centre. Will involve setting up games, pool tables and equip- ment and supervising teens, playing games with them and taking a turn in the kitchen selling pop and chips. Main job will be to interact with teens and develop friendships. GOPHONE COMPANION is needed for an elderly lady who needs someone to accompany her to swimming. Transportation is needed. RECYCLE CRAFTS VOLUNTEERS are needed to assist at special events with the making of crafts from recycled and reused materials with children aged 6 to 10.
