NORTH SHORE Continuing Education
(NSCE) is continuing to offer a part-time
cenificate program focusing on design
and decoration.

‘The program includes 12 courses on
residential and commercial design as well
as space plinning, the art of color coordi-
nation and lighting, design styles of the
past und present, interior finishes, drawing
and drafting.

Courses will start in April of this
year.

the knowledge and design skills that are
increasingly needed to start a career or to
stay competitive in a broad range of
design-related fields,

These fields include the building
industry, property developers, contractors
and home renovators: companies that
offer goods and services to residential and
commercial consumers, and also those
involved in the home improvement busi-
ness.

Many of the courses will also be of
interest to those who want to broaden their
knowledge of design and decoration or are
interested in one of the topics offered.
