SMITH - Helen Richmond, born in
Grand Forks, B.C. on June 22, 1904,
passed away on November 19, 1993 at
the age of 89 years. She recently resided
in the Sidney, 8.0. area but spent many
earlier years in West Vancouver, 8.C. She
will be sadly missed by her loving hus-
band, James Easton Smith. They just
celebrated their 66 years of marriage on
August 24, 1993. She is also survived by
her two sans and one daughter, James
(Marge) of Henderson, Nevada, U.S.A.,
David (Mary) of Calgary, Alberta, Patricia
Spreadbury (Gordon) of Rimbey, Alberta,
ten grandchildren and fourteen great
grandchildren, She is also survived by
two nephews David and William Groves,
sons of her late sister Betty Groves of
Westhalme, 8.C. The family would like
ta thank Agnes and Archie Orr of North
Saanich, 8.C. for their great help over
the years and in recent times of diffical-
ty. A Funeral Service will be conducted
by the Rev Gordon Laird of Maple Ridge,
B.C. wha has taken part in family wed-
dings and the 60ih anniversary celebra-
tion, Funeral Service wifl be held at
Haywatds Thomson and iting, 1625
Quadra Street (at Balmoral} Victoria,
B.C, on Tuesday, November 23, 1993 at
2:00pm. Cremation. Flowers gratefutly
declined. Those wishing, may make a
donation to their favorite charity.
