The Silver Harbor Manor seniors organization has planned well in hand, having Organized a variety of events for its members. All seniors are welcome to join in any of the following sessions on May 16: Dance with Doris, Walk with Rose, Flex and Stretch with Harriet, Pool with Ivan, Bow! with Wynn and Vera. Not be outdone by the Silver Harbor Manor, Lions Gate Hospital staff have plans to walk around the hospital grounds during their lunch break. Also, exercise classes have been organized for staff, and extended care patients from Evergreen House will be invited to join the staff dumng the lunch walk. Women’s baseball begins A TOTAL of four teams make up the new Junior Women’s Softball League for the lower mainland, in- cluding one entry from North Vancouver. Teams from Burnaby, Langley and Newton, as well as the North Shore, make up NORTH SHORE running. Marathon Clinic the London, England marathon. They'll be 36 of a total of 20,000 marathoners. And that last junior team is one the new entry would like to emulate. They won the B.C. Provincials in 1979 with Mrs. J. Matheson as head coach. If coaching has anything to do with it, Crash Pad will be in pretty good shape. The same Mrs. Matheson is head coach of the new team. North Vancouver Mayors Baker and Loucks’ have organized a Mayors Walk at noon from their respective offices to the Mickey McDougall Gym and they welcome any who wish to join them.
