has been issued for the discharge of
sludge from the raw salt storage tanh of
a chlor-alkali plant to a landfiil located
at 100 Amberst Avenue, North Yan-
couver, &.C.

The Approval consists of authorization to
discharge tie sludge during the period
from August 30, 1999 to August 29,
1991 with the following conditrans:

L. Maximum quantity of 1290 cubic
metres,

2. 0.6 metre cover to be applied within
one week of discharge,

3. No special wastes to be tandiilled,

4. Monitoring of the sludge and
groundwater.

A copy of the Approval may be viewed at
15326 - 103A Avenue, Surrey, British
Coiumbia, V3R 7A2, (telephone: 584-
8822). during normal business hours.
