MARK SAGER, the West Vancouver resident who’s made headlines as a would-be politician and as a businessman, is back in the news. By NEWS STAFF . Sager is on the wrong end of a suit filed by the Cana- dian Imperial Bank of Com- merce that seeks almost $100,000. Included in the suit is the demand for payment of August 1982 promissary notes for $50,000 and $20,000 and coverage of a bank overdraft of $13,700 and a Visa account of $6,300 plus interest. A Sager has protested the fil- ing of the suit, saying he thought there was an agree- ment in place that the money would be repaid from costs he expects to recover in a separate lawsuit. In that case, Sager is seek- ing payment for a house he sold.
