I thought we had a planning depart- ment to look at traffic emuations before issuing building permits. What did the department think was going to happen when the only way 400 elementary stu- dents could get in to the school was up one narrow, steep road? Traffic up the road to the school is a parking lot. Some people, fed up with the tie-up, drop their children off to walk the rest of the way (did I mention there are no sidewalks?) and make a very quick U-turn to prevent being smashed by the drivers now late for work or whatever, who are now racing down the coad I wonder what will happen in the winter, a time when even experienced with getting up our “hill,” leave our cars at #1 To add further insult to our once peaceful and quiet neighborhood, we have been informed our house values have dropped $100,000 because of the traffic.
