Cap teams make playoffs

CAP College soccer teams will take
to the field this weekend for the
start of the BCCAA playoffs in
Burnaby.

The men’s Blues squad raised its British
Columbia Colleges Athletics Association west
division season record to 5-2-3 and 18 points
with a 1-0 shutout of Fraser Valley on the
weekend, and will take on Cariboo at the
Burnaby Sports Complex on Friday in semi-
final action.

Cariboo finished the regular season atop the
BCCAA east division with a 6-2-2 record and
20 points.

Meanwhile, west division leader Langara
(9-1-0 and 27 pts.) will lock horns with the
day. Spartans (4-3-3 and 15 pts.) that‘same

The gold medal championship game is set

On the women's side, the Blues will take
their west division-leading 7-3-0 record and 21

TWU Spartans, who finished the season with a
6-3-1 record and 19 points.

On the weekend the Cap women doubled
Fraser Valley 2-1.

In the other women’s matchup, BCCAA
east division winner Cariboo (7-1-2 and 23
pts.) takes on Malaspina (5-3-2 and 17 pts.)
