Archives document local history Dear Editor: The Deep Cove. Dollarton Com- munity Programs Society would like to introduce you to our community archives. The Archives, located in the com- munity wing of Seycove Secondary Community School, have been established to encourage residents to relate their memories of rhe area from the Burrarcd indian Reserve to the head of Indian Arm The Deep Cove Community has been very supportive providing us with photograph:, documents and artifacts. We are in the process of making the archival material available to the public and welcome visitors Further to this, the Archives will be conducting a random telephone survey the week of June 2-6, 1986 This survey is to find out where your imterests lie. By sharing your memories in living and working in your community we will all help make a contribution in documenting our local history.
