go to.charity from the support of local business which sponsor the lighting of a tree. This display
crystalized the waterfront with a visual sight that must be seen by everyone!

~ Peppi's lights up Yuletide annually with
the ‘crowd-pleasing Christmas Festival of
~ Lights. This delightfully bright event has
quickly become ‘a favorite ‘North Shore
“tradition for Christmas.
West Vancouver Mayor Mark Sager, Grace
. McCarthy, Arthur Griffiths and Festival of
Lights organizer Klaus Fuerniss officiated at
the Christmas tree lighting ceremony last year
for the second annual event.

Local choirs, the Sun-Rype pavilion
nativity scene carved from cedar by Narth
Vancouver sculptor Frank Carius, and 70 trees
bedecked in brilliant colors, drew over 60,000

Peppi's winter garden warmed spectators
and participants with hot chestnuts and Sun-
Rype hot apple cider. .

Festival-goers cast votes for their favorite
tree, decorated by local businesses and

” sponsors. Tree ballot donation proceeds helped
to support the Canuck Place hospice for
children.

If West Vancouver city council agrees, it
will happen again this coming Christmas. Join
the celebration wich community, friends and
family, for a touch of enchantment this year at
Peppi's 3rd Annual Festival of Lights.

It's at the heart of the spirit of the season.
