Swimmers dive

into Me

NINE North Shore swimmers have
been selected to compete at the
Commonwealth Games and World
Championship trials being held in
Montreal, Feb. 28 to March 4.

The nine will be up against the
country’s best swimming talent in
the five-day competition with only
the top two finishers in each event
being selected for the Com-
monwealth Games.

Travelling to Montreal this week
will be West Vancouver's Ian

Westminster's Hyack Swim Club.

Dolphins Swim Club, Sara Frisby
and Sally Gilbert, both 16, Rad
Archibald, 20, and Alison Gilbert,
17, will represent the North Shore
at Montreal.

Selected to the Montreal com-
petitions from North Vancouver's
Chena Swim Club are Suzy Stan-
ton, 16, Lisa Woods, 17, Carolyn
Reeder, 15, and 19-year-old Steven
Ingo.
