To those of you who at-
tended the “WORKSHOP IN
A DAY” we offer our
congratulations for helping
to make it the success it was.
Great way to spend a day,
isn’t it? To those of you who
didn’t make it, watch out for
the next one in the fall — for
there will be one, for they
seem to be here to stay.
They've sprung up in all the
districts where Night School
classes are running and the
course variety gets bigger
every time.

Keep in mind that if you
think of something that
would be apropos to an aill-
day session, Night Train staff
would like to hear from you.

There's one more date
that you might want to
remember, for yourself or
someone you know —
“WAITER—WAITRESS
TRAINING” is given by
Anita Horneman, and runs
from Apmil 24th, to May Ist.
from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Although the course is given
at Canyon Gardens, 3381
Capilano Road, you register
for the course at the Adult

There’s limited enrolment,
so don’t hesitate if this is
something you want. The
$25 course fee includes
books and materials.

Now that your spring
courses are about half done,
are you beginning to feel just
a tiny bit bleak that there'll
be no more classes until
September? As one of the
teachers, 1 can imagine you
may feel rather like I do —
you look forward to the
beginning with a great deal
of anticipation, you enjoy
each week immensely,
you're glad for a brief respite
when things end, but you
almost immediately _ start
looking forward to the next
session. Right?

There's one thing I haven't
said for a few weeks: don't
start dropping classes just
because you're reaching the
halfway mark and_= are
starting down the other side.
The teachers keep going
until the very end, and it’s no
fun when all they .-have to
talk to are empty desks!
