John Sheehan recently
reached an out-of-
court settlement with
the Crown corporation
of almost $1 million
dollars for wrongful
dismissal.

Shechas, B.C Hydro
was one of nwo senior Hydro
executives fired by then
Premier Glen Clark in 1996
over their involvement: with
the Raiwind Project in
Pakistan.

The project involved
International Power Corp
which had partnered with an
arm of B.C. Hydro in a
Cayman Islands-incorporated
joint venture to build a power
plant in Pakistan.

Sheehan family members
invested in International
Power Corp. Sheehan did not
advise BC Hydro Board
about the investment. The
investment was viewed as a
potential conflict’ by the
board.
