The evening was perfect as the sun stayed out just about as long as the little ones. Four-year-old Elizabeth Andrews and mom Cindy were happy to be part of the carnival crowd. Nikki Galicz and Tina Tremaine. orth shore news > oo BRIGHT LIGHTS oo Kids get kick out of student carnival creation STUDENT Summer Works was the name of the program, but from the look of the Held behind the Eagle Harbour Community Centre ix West Vancouver, it looked mere ike a party. Program coordinator Paige Kerr and her gang of go- getters setup an entire carnival and everyone was invited to evlebrate. Kids from all over the district of West Van came out to enjoy all kinds of acuvities and games. There was face painting, bee golt, a “bouney castle” and lot, of tood. It was a grear event and congratulations go to evervone who participated. The Eby family was having a great time at the carnival. Little Samantha (left front) is almost one-years-old and Alexandra (right front) is now three, but ycu can be sure that dad Brian and mom Andrea were closely watching over them. Sara and Jackson Kirkwood brought along their dad Miles. The carniva! had everything a kid could want including a “bouncy castle”, face painting, and lots of games. Four-year-old Hillary Drake stopped long enough to give us a quick wave. Cathy Eggertson made sure that four-year-old daughter Stephanie and two-year-old son Thor had a good time at all the events. Threa-year-old Pachel Hirst gave mom Patti a big hug as they waited in line for a hot dog or two. Tammy Van *Nyck (left) and Kate Orford got to the grill early.
