89, passed away October 31, 1996.
She was born March 21, 1907 in
Bradtord, England and was pie
deceased -by her parents Ada in
1958, William in 1974, her brother
John ia 1979 and her sister Mary in
February, 1996. She has been a res-
ident of the North Shore since
1936. Ada, who was known affec-

tionately by her family as Aunty Ella,

lived a life characterized by good
works. During World War Mt, she
-worked at Burrard Drydock, aiding
“45 war effort. She and her family

Knowles family. She will be sorely
missed by family and friends alike.
A special thanks to the stafl of the
Palliative Care Unit at Lions Gate
Hospital who helped make her last
days as comfortable as possible. A
family graveside service wilt be held.
