POLICE ARE investigating a pit bull attack on Sunday
_ hear the Seymour River. An English pointer dog, its owner
and one of the people with the pit bull were bitten in the
incident. ‘The Jeashed pit bull managed to work off its muz-
zie und ripped at the pointer’ $ neck, according to a North
Vancouver RCMP spokesman. The pit bull was tied to a
tree while the doy owners cxamined the injuries. The dog
gat ioose again and bit the pointer’s owner. The woman was
treated in hospital for puncture wounds. Her dog received
injuries to its neck and shoulder. The animal is recovering.

A 28-YEAR-OLD Surrey man sas fined a total of $2,000
on April 24 in connection. with charges’ of trafficking
cocaine and. failing to show wp for court in North
Vancouver City.

David Frederick Bingham pleaded guiliy to charges
stemming from a period between Feb. 17, 1993, and Sept.
11, 1994,
