North Vancouver’ was evacuated on Monday

evening following a bomb scare.:

-A’ Valentine's Day dance was cancelled after an

anonymous caller phoned in the bomb threat, according
fo a North Vancouver RCMP spokesman,

explosive device was found.

Last Thursday, a dance at West Vancouver's Sentinel
secondary school was ‘cancelled: after a small’ bomb
exploded in the unoccupied school. :

The bomb went off in a student’s locker at.3 a.m.”

Three lockers were damaged and windows were broken
in the blast. West Vancouver Police continue to investi-
gate the incident. On the same day as the Sentinel explo-
sion,.a bomb scare was reported at West Vancouver
Hillside middle school. No bomb was discovered.
