Tomcats opens house

NORTH VANCOUVER-BASED
Tomcats Design Limited is having
an open house in December to
show its boys’ wear.

According to Tomeats founder
Laureen Lloyd, she established the
North Shore company two years
ago after identifying a need for
quality boys’ clothing classics that
are also functional.

The Tomcats line includes cor-
duroy pants, sweat pants, woven
fleece pants, mock turtle necks,
Tugby jerseys, sweat shirts,_ {ong
sleeve jerseys and polo pajamas.

Tomcats use a wide range of
cclors from the brights — red,
yellow, green and blue — to the
more subtle tones -— white and
off-white, navy, olive and harvest
gold. Sizes come in three through
12.

The Tomcats Design Ltd. studio
at 823 Whitchurch in North Van-
couver will be open 1-4 p.m. on
Dec. 7-8. For more information,
