W. Van celebrates in style [ Watch For Our ral

A COLORFUL crew turned out at
Park Royal north mall Saturday
night for the West Vancouver 75th
Anniversary Ball in the Mall.

Participants donned their
favorite post-1912 period outfits in
celebration ‘of the municipality’s
colorful history. Entertainment for
the evening included music and
song from big band swing to rock
and roll. Food was served buffet-
style by local restaurants.

Lucille Crawford receives the best
women's costume award for her
yellow and black Belle Epoch
dress. Mr. B. Johnston won best
men’s costume and Kate and
Henry Clifford won best doubles’
costume.
