THE FOLLOWING people ap-
peared in North and West Van-
couver provincial courthouses
recently to face various charges
laid against them.

Before Judge J.D. Layton in
North Vancouver provincial court
April 24:

A bench warrant was issued for
Peter Jeffrey Hamm after the 28-
year-old man of no fixed address
failed tc appear for a scheduled
court date.

Jose Timbang Co was fined $300
after the 39-year-old Vancouver
man was found guilty of theft
under $1,000 in connection with
the theft of electronic equipment
from Sears Canada Ltd.

North Vancouver-provincial court

April 23:

Craig Mackie was handed a
suspended sentence and placed on
probation for a year after the 25-
year-old North Vancouver man
was found guilty on one count of
trespassing at night.

Before Judge J.K. Shaw in North
Vancouver provincial court April

Godfrey Philip Gower was plac-
ed on probation for a year after
the 45-year-old North Vancouver
man pleaded guilty to a charge of
theft under $1,000 laid against him
in connection with the March 19

_ theft of tobacco from the 13th and

Lonsdaie Avenue Safeway.

Darcy Warren Lowey was placed
on probation for one year after the
21-year-old North Vancouver man
