REZONING BYLAW

The Council for The Corporation of the District of North Vancouver will hold a Public
Hearing under the provisions of the Municipal Act in the Council Chamber of the
Municipal Hall, 355 West Queens Road, North Vancouver, B.C. on
Monday, September 26, 1988 at 7:00 p.m. to consider the following:

Text amendments to

1) define ‘‘outdoor customer service area’’; and

2) indicate that outdoor customer service areas are permitted in
eating and drinking establishments in the Commercial and
Industrial Zones C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6 and 13.

To enable the municipality to control outdoor seating areas at

restaurants, cafes and neighbourhood public houses.

Copy of the bylaw, resolution, supporting staff reports and any relevant background
documentation may be inspected at the Municipal Hall on regular working days
between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., September 16 to September 26, 1988.
Information is also available at all District Libraries.

All persons who believe their interest in property affected by the above proposal
shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing.
