In Vancouver at least three major companies and many smaller ones use handwriting analysis in’ personnel selec- tion; hence requests for handwritten resumes, she says. And she points to a September 24 broadcast of CBC's Fifth Estate and an in- terview with New York graphologist Felix Klein, as an indication of its accep- tance in North America. **Lloyds of London has us- ed handwriting analysis for years and in Isracl 80 per cent of business firms complete graphological examinations of prospective employces. “The Wall Street Journal said in a September 5 article that 80 of 160 biggest cor:- panies in France use graphology in hiring prac- tices, especially at the ex- ecutive and professional levels." This indirect approach is non-threatening and often the first szep in cor- recting the problem.” Patients are referred by doctors, friends, family and in some instaaces, the result of a personal search for counselling.
