community roundup -Al7-Wednesday, October 29, 1980 - North Shore News Dr. Ed Lipinski, director of medical services at Simon Fraser University and im- mediate past president of the Canadian Psvekiatric Association, died in a Lisbon hospital October 21 from injuries received in a motor vehitle accident in Portugal. He was a West Vancouver resident. Dr. Lipinski, 54, had earlier attended a meeting in Chinese leaders host WV engineer C.O. Ed Lipinski joined Simon fraser in 1969 and built the medical services department as it exists today with six doctors, five nurses and five support staff members.
