participate in their own
marathon this summer: the
Read-A-Marathon book club
at the Lynn Valley, Capilano
and Seycove branches of the
District Library.

Marathon runners come in
all shapes and sizes, and so
do young readers: the club is
designed to allow children of
any age who can read to
progress at their own pace,
and to build up reading
stamina by enjoying good
books and sharing their
enthusiasm with others.

At the main Lynn Valley
branch weekly meetings will
be held every Thursday at
2:30 p.m. for talk about .

The reading marathon will ;
get under way at the
beginning of July at all three
branches: children may
register from June 25th on.
