SATURDAY: Lions s Gate Hospital is isona a fund-raising campaign. A completely modernized Chiidrens Floor is badly needed. Why anew childrens floor? Treatments have changed. The age- mix of children has changed drastically over the years: there are fewer young children and more in their early teens. Observation into some rooms from the nursing station is completely unsatisfactory. The present design is just plain out-of-date. If we waited for government funding it could take 10 years, as in similar projects, before they approve it. The estimate for the total cost of renovation is $300,000. The Auxillary to Lions Gate Hospital has donated $60,000 to give us a good start. How can You HELP? All donations, whatever size, will help us to reach our goal.
