Upp “3 ‘A Day on March 8, the Body

Shop is preparing a week of

events designed to raise aware-

ness of violence against

women. This is the sixth year for the campaign, which kicks off
Monday with events in ail Body Shop stores across Canada,
including the Lonsdale Quay and Park Royal south mall loca-
tions. The weekend of March 11 and 12, staff will conduct
“express” makeovers featuring new cosmetics from the body
Shop Colourings makeup line. Starting Monday and continu-
ing to March 31, the Body Shop will be selling commemora-
tive T-shirts ($19: 95) and a mirrored compact ($6.95), both
emblazoned with the campaign's half-daisy symbol (“he loves
me, he loves me not”), with part proceeds to benefit violence
prevention and recovery programs through the Canadian
