Well, it must have stuck with Eric as he is still making people laugh with his unique gourmet cooking shows. Join Chef Lenz at the 1993 Spring B.C. Home and Garden Show as he blends the unexpeeted ingredients of magic, comedy and cooking in his all-new show — Outback on the Barbi. In a fun-filled half hour of in- formative outdoor cooking in- struction, he will show you how to cook an entire meal on the barbecue. Beginning with the appetizer, right through to dessert, the entire concept of the show is to keep it healthy and simply gourmet, Au- dience members will be able to taste samples of the delicacies. Tabasco 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 44 cup brown sugar cup ketchup Y% cup freshly ground pepper About 30 bamboo skewevs Place pork or chicken in large shallaw glass dish. Combine pineapple juice, vinegar, soft drink, soy sauce, garlic, tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, ketchup and pepper. Pour over pork/chicken and marinate for two hours or overnight in tetrigerator. Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes. Place meat on skewers (about five or six pieces per skewer) and barbecue, not too close to the coals, until browned well and meat is cooked. Brush with marinade while cooking. Serving with your favorite vegetables, like corn on the cob. Serves six to eight.
