The Campain Community Focus, which was established in 199! and is 2 division of the Unit- ed Way's campaign fundraising program, is comprised of 13 committees representing the 19 Lower Mainland municipalities covered by the United Way Cam- paign. The objective of the committees is to increase awareness and sup- port of the United Way within loca? communities. Bader, who lives and works on the North Shore, was appointed as chairperson for North. Vancouver last year. Now, in his second year, Bader will be responsible for both North and West Vancouver, When asked abut his previous United Way experience, he said, “I enjoyed the challenge and suc- cess last year and I enjoyed being involved in tie community and in helping others.”” As chairperson, Bader is responsible for encouraging small and independent businesses to support the campaign and raising the profile of the United Way and its local agencies.
