of Lions Gate Hospital’s Mum's the Word fund-raising campaign. Special guests were Their Honors, the
Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. David C. Lam. Other notables were (left to right) emcee Dr. Doug McTag-
gart, Inspector Frank Peterson, aide-de-camp to the Lieutenant Governor, Pat Smith, wife of LGH president
Robert Smith, and Dr. David Thomas, obstetrician and guest speaker. Proceeds from the evening, which was
held at the Pan Pacific Hotel, went towards new maternity monitoring equipment.
