THE NORTH Shore Amazons
gisls’ soccer team has scored a
double coup, taking the Provincial
Coastal ‘A’ Cup, as well as the
Provincial ‘A’ Cup.

The Amazons snuck by the
Guildford Strikers 3-2 at Swangard
Stadium to win the Coastal Cup

and earn a play-off game in
Kamloops for the Provincial Cup.

But after viewing a tape of the
Amazons on the soccer pitch, the
provincial interior champs decided
not to challenge the Amazons.

This makes the Amazons the
provincial champions in Div. 6 for
