Asked ‘Would you shop at Park Royal on Sunday if they were open?"’, 47.2 per cent of those poled said yes and 47.2 per cent said no, Those figures show strong support for the West Van- couver shopping centre, support that wasn’t evident during a referendum in last November’s municipal elec- tion when a Sunday opening bylaw was defeated. Because of that defeat Park Royal is the only shopping centre on the North Shore — and one of the few in the Lower Mainland — that isn't able to take advantage of Sunday openings.
