exciting science. fair and_
exhibition that has proved so
popular with the public for
the last three years, will be»
held again at Vancosver's

Dr. Pat McGeer announced
that there are new and in-
teresting exhibits to be.
viewed at the fair and that it
highlights the many ad-
vances being made in British
Columbia in the field of high
technology. _

and technicians, whose work
in all fields of science, and |
technology is ‘commanding -
world-wide attention and
respect,” he said. __

The exhibits in this year’s
fair include robots, space
phone, pipe that transmits
light, equipment that allows
viewing of three-dimensions}
color photos of the brain;
insulin infusion pump and
much more. Noon hour
lectures will also be part of
the ongoing event. —

The Arts, Sciences and
Technology Centre, just a
few blocks from Robson
Square, has also planned
special exhibits during the
fair, _

Discovery Fair will be open.
to the public at-no charge.
Hours are from 9:30 a.m. to
6:00 p.m. daily.
