CAUSE, West Vancouver
firefighters Local 1525,
Tuesday, presented 34,500
to the Vancouver General
Hospital Burn Unit and
$4,500 to the Lions Gate
Hospital children’s ward.
The money was raised in a
firewood cutting project in
which the firefighters cut
down trees donated by the
British Properites, cut and
split the wood and
delivered it by truck at $60
a truck load. Here, the
